RETREAT – 3 Days of ….

3 days of no reception, just you and Mother Nature across the house.
3 days of pure carbohydrate food.
3 days of independence.
3 days of the cold weather.
3 days in one room the same 20 people that you will be socializing with.
3 days to wear a different out fit each day.
3 days meditation, reflection and silence.
3 days to know yourself and other people more.

Mostly the purpose of this trip is 3 days to bond with god!

In these 3 days people can change dramatically, through emotionally, mentally and physically.

Now do you believe that one can change in such a short period of time although it just a merely 3 day retreat? I believe it can given that it was intense. It pushed everyone to their limits; it made a lot of people rethink about their beliefs, values and connection with GOD.

For some this might have been a life changing experience, where they feel cleansed and feel anew again. Where they feel they can live life a much more better and improved way. It might have also answered some people's questions.

As for me I took a lot from this retreat, I learnt a lot. I might not agree to some that is said. But to the ones I agree, I think I shall take it with me and try to make a better me. I mean the only way your life is going to be good, is to slowly change yourself to become a better person. In order for someone to love you, you have to love yourself, you have to respect yourself, you have to treat yourself good ( this doesn't mean retail therapy, that is only a satisfaction or a want.) By doing all these things, you know that others just want to be treated the same way as you want to be treated.

3 days of silence, and many things can run through your mind.
3 days of calmness can heal a lot of anger within you,
3 days of silence can make you no longer liking what's in today's society.

The noise, the amount of gossip, the unnecessary fake drama scenes just to get attention.

3 days , 3 days is all it takes to change a person.

The final word: it was awesome, intense but awesome.
