Heys all!
So last night, Tiffy and I were supposed to go to this south of the river leaders meeting with CYM's very own Catherine GM. The meeting was at 7.30pm at this church in Highgate.
So we met up at 7ish in Northbridge to get some bbt and off we went.
ME: PRETTY sure that Joel told me last time that the church was opposite Luxe Bar
Tiffy: -Driving- AND also convinced that it was much further up Beaufort st.
SO obviously, Tiffy kept on driving,
and driving,
and driving
and then suddenly, she goes:
"I think i missed the turning, can you check the map?"
ME: -checking map-
Tff: I think we're in Morley?
ME: WHAT?!
-facepalm-
We finally got there at about 8pm -.- Woops!!!
FYI-I was right to begin with, it WAS opposite Luxe =/
Besides this, we realized JUST how much we needed to plan for next year
Madrid of course is the huge one but everything leading up to it and everything after ALSO need to be planned =o
But of course, our closest event IS carolling =D AREN'T YOU EXCITED?!?!?!?!
At the meeting, we also talked about "Advocacy"
Basically, its about giving a voice or standing up for those who might be oppressed or discriminated in any way.
By doing this and standing up for that person, you are allowing the light of Christ to shine through your actions.
